Dan just came down and informed me that Spot is playing with BOTH his mice - the new one and the decapitated, disembowelled one - making them play together and giving them food out of his dish.

We theorised the other day that his weird squeaking noises he makes could possibly be the equivalent to little boys running around with toy cars making motor noises. Maybe Spot likes to make squeak noises while he runs around with his mice.

Then Dan came and informed me that the mouse had to go potty and Spot put it in the litter box. *sigh*

He used to toss his mice in there all the time when he was done with them... and then stopped like right at the time I got pregnant, which was considerate of him. I had hoped he was going to quit doing it altogether. But no.
