So the neighbour lady's husband definitely just thought our apartment was his and walked in.

And thiiiiis is why I keep my deadbolt locked.

'cause after the first time some dude opened my door, walked in, frowned at me as I was sitting on the couch, asked if I was my neighbor ("Dave", incidentally) and then didn't leave right away when I said no, but stood around for a minute looking confused before leaving, I decided once was enough of that.

Eeee. That would be distinctly unnerving.

I never left my door unlocked when I lived up in Portland, that's for sure. Here it's not a big deal if we did, but still.
