A tad gory in its early pages; a tad dry in the middle. I felt it really picked up only when the missionary began unlocking the culture of the Sawi people and finding "redemptive analogies". Had I written this book, I would have presented it differently so the backstory that takes up almost half the book would be cleverly inserted later where relevant.
Still, nitpicking abput sytle aside, it was a grand story about reaching a seemingly unreachable people with the Gospel and what a positive change Jesus' love made in their society.
