Book 27: Hanukkah - Eight Nights, Eight Lights by Malka Drucker. 87pp

I picked this up out of the children's room (oh how surprising). This was a really nice and simple explanation of the history, traditions, and significance of the holiday.

We went walking up Mary's Peak today. It was sunny and dusted with snow at the bottom. It got more and more misty, dark, and snowy as we went up. There was one part where you walked between a tall stump and a tree that seemed like a doorway and just as I was about to say it felt like walking in Narnia, Dan beat me to it.

Spot lost patience when the snow started pelting down really hard, so we turned back before we got to the top. He walked well though and he's been sleeping off his exercise since we got home at threeish.
