Sep. 12th, 2008 05:37 pmOh man. I'm so angry at Qwest. I really am. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER USE QWEST.
We got home from a really long and tiring (but, we hope, productive) day that I will write more about later when I'm not so cranky, but we got home to a phone message from some dude at Qwest saying that he was informed we were moving and might want to transfer our service, if we still had service. I told Dan to call him back because I was already livid just at the idea that he called at all after I was told it was cancelled back a month ago or whenever it was. Not that I really have any good reason to believe they did, since they also "cancelled" it back in May.
So the husband called and told him we did not want any services at all. Apparently I'm to be getting ANOTHER bill. This dude claims he's going to refund it. He better. At least we have his name and the message saved on the computer so he, at least, can't try to pull a fast one.
Thank God only Comcast is available down in Lebanon and its environs. I hate Qwest's service with the burning passion of a thousand fiery suns. Which reminds me that I'm sure glad my mom taught me how to spell "fiery" correctly. I'm sure glad for the story of Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego which prompted said spelling lesson.
The word comes in handy.
